Behind the Artisan urn

Timeless Handcrafted Tribute

Each artisan urn is individually handcrafted by a retired master carpenter and dear friend of Harbourside. Every piece is custom made according to the quantity of ashes it is created to hold, ensuring a truly personal tribute.

Crafted from beautiful timbers including exotic Oregon and Cedar, these urns are far more than resting places — they are timeless pieces of handcrafted furniture and artistry. Completely unique in character, each urn is a fitting and lasting tribute to the life and companionship shared with your beloved companion.

A note on the ashes

A horse is a large animal, and the cremated remains can be substantial. They are carefully processed by hand into the soft, fine ashes most families picture. With this package, all of them come home to you — it is our only full-return option.

If your horse has already passed and is still with you, please don't wait for the form. Call Alby now on 0493 814 474.

Practical Preparation

Before We Arrive

Everything you need to know — so the time we spend together can be focused entirely on your horse.

You do not need to hold everything in your head right now. We will guide you through every step.

This section makes the practical side clear before we arrive, so your focus can stay on your horse.

We've written this to reduce uncertainty, not add to it. If you only remember one thing, let it be this: you can call and ask us to talk you through it.

Payment

Payment handled beforehand

Payment is handled beforehand so your final moments are not interrupted by forms, invoices, or decisions under pressure.

Final Goodbye

Your last memory matters

Many families choose to step away during collection so the memory they carry is of love, not logistics. We will guide that gently.

Keepsakes

Keep what matters most

Mane, tail, shoes, rugs — gather anything you wish to keep before we arrive. We include this here so nothing important is forgotten.

Complete the "Let's Begin Their Farewell" form when you're ready — it only takes a few quiet minutes and helps us prepare to care for your horse properly.

We ask that payment is finalised before we arrive. This isn't about paperwork — it's about presence. The moment we step onto your property, we want our entire focus on your horse and on you, with no forms, transactions, or interruptions between us.

To make this as simple as possible, Rachael will send your invoice by email as soon as your booking is confirmed. Once you've settled, simply send your receipt through by text or email and we'll take care of everything from there.

Options include Afterpay, VetPay (15-minute approval), card by phone, and direct bank transfer.

You do not need to remember all of this.

If the time comes suddenly, just call us. We will walk you through each step calmly, clearly, and without pressure.

Begin when you're ready

Tell us about your companion. This takes about 3 minutes, and nothing is final until we speak with you personally.
