Aftercare your clinic can put its name to

When you recommend a crematorium, you are lending that business your reputation. Harbourside performs individual cremation only, records custody from the moment of handover at your clinic, and gives your reception team a live status they can quote to a client on the phone.

No contract, no minimum volume, no account manager. Alby collects, Alby returns, and Alby answers the phone.

What clinics get from us

  • Scheduled runs plus after-hours and weekend collection when a case cannot wait
  • Individual cremation only — no communal option to explain away to a client
  • A numbered SafeHarbour tag fitted at handover, with custody recorded at every stage
  • A clinic portal showing the live status of every case you have with us
  • Signed Certificate of Individual Cremation, ink paw print and fur clipping on every case
  • Direct billing to the clinic, or billed to the family — your call, per case
  • Equine and large animal handled by the same team, with purpose-built equipment
  • One number, and Alby answers it himself

How a referral works

1. Handover at the clinic

We collect from your clinic on a scheduled run or on call. Your team logs the case in the portal or simply phones it through — whichever is quicker on the day.

2. Tagged in front of your staff

A single numbered SafeHarbour tag is fitted at the point of handover, so custody is documented from your premises onward rather than from our door.

3. Individual cremation, tracked

Each stage is timestamped in the portal, so when a client rings your reception you can answer the question rather than take a message.

4. Return

Ashes are usually ready within 5–7 business days and returned to the clinic or directly to the family, with the certificate and keepsakes. We take the client conversation off your team's hands if you would like us to.

Questions clinics ask us

Do you collect from veterinary clinics?
Yes. Clinic collection is the majority of our work, on scheduled runs across coastal and northern NSW, the Hunter, Greater Sydney, the Northern Rivers and South East Queensland, with after-hours and weekend collection available when a case cannot wait.
Can we offer communal cremation to clients through you?
No. We only perform individual cremation. We do offer a removal-only option where no ashes are returned, which is the honest alternative when a family does not want ashes back, and it is described to them in exactly those terms.
How do clients choose a package?
Your team does not have to sell anything. Book the collection and we contact the family directly to talk through options at their pace, or hand them our prices page and let them decide before we arrive.
How is billing handled?
Either way, per case. Some clinics prefer a monthly account and recover the cost through their own invoice; others prefer we bill the family directly. Tell us which you want when you book.
Do you handle equine and large animal cases?
Yes, with our own equipment and our own people, including on-property collection coordinated with your equine vet or the property manager. Equine is quoted per case — ask the owner to call Alby directly.
How do we track a case for a client who calls us?
Through the clinic portal. Every case shows its current stage with timestamps, so reception can answer the question on the spot. Ask us to set your clinic up and we will do it the same day.
How do we start using Harbourside?
Call Alby on 0493 814 474 or email info@harboursidepetcremations.com.au. There is no contract, no minimum volume and no onboarding process — most clinics start with a single case and go from there.
