Urns, prints & memorials
Pet urns and memorial keepsakes
Every farewell at Harbourside already includes an ink paw print, a clipping of fur and a signed Certificate of Individual Cremation. What follows is everything else you can choose — urns sized to your companion, engraved plaques, nose prints and hand-finished pencil portraits.
Nothing here is compulsory and nothing is offered to you at the door. If you are not ready to decide, we hold the ashes until you are, at no charge.
Urns and containers
Hardwood urns
Solid timber with a fitted brass plate, made to sit on a mantel or shelf rather than be hidden away. Sized to your companion by weight, and included in several of our cremation packages rather than charged as an extra.
Pewter and metal urns
A heavier, cooler finish for families who want something more understated. Sealed properly, so ashes can be moved or divided later if a family needs to share them.
Scatter and enviro tubes
For families who already know the place they want to take them — a beach, a paddock, a favourite walking track. Biodegradable, easy to carry, and simple to open when the day comes.
Photo urns
A brass urn with a framed photograph set into the face, so the urn shows you them rather than only holding them.
Ash-set jewellery and sharing keepsakes
A small portion of ashes set aside for a pendant or a keepsake vial, usually where several family members each want something of their own. The rest is returned to you in your chosen urn.

Questions families ask us
- Is the urn included, or is it extra?
- Most of our cremation packages include the urn or container in the published price — the package you choose determines the style. Nothing is added at the door, and we never upsell a memorial to a grieving family at the moment of collection.
- Do I have to decide on the urn straight away?
- No. Tell us what you are leaning toward and we will hold the ashes until you have decided, at no charge. Plenty of families take a few weeks to choose, and some ask to see options in person first.
- Can I have my pet's paw print?
- Yes, and it costs nothing extra. Every farewell includes an ink paw print and a clipping of fur as standard. We also offer an ink nose print and a fine pencil paw portrait printed on archival 4x6 paper if you would like something to frame.
- Can the urn be engraved with my pet's name?
- Yes. A small engraved memorial plaque with your companion's name and the dates that mattered can be fitted to your urn or kept on its own. The plaque style is matched to the urn you choose.
- Can our family split the ashes between us?
- Yes. Ashes can be divided between siblings or households, or a small portion set aside for jewellery or a keepsake vial while the remainder comes home in the main urn. Just tell us before the return and we will arrange it.
- Can I buy an urn if you didn't cremate my pet?
- Call us and ask. We would rather talk it through than have you order the wrong size online — urn capacity is set by your pet's body weight, and getting that wrong is upsetting to discover later.
