In short

Individual pet cremation in NSW typically costs between $430 and $665 depending on your companion's weight and the urn you choose. Harbourside's scattering package starts at $430, silver from $470, gold from $570 and platinum from $585, with collection included on weekdays. Removal only, with no ashes returned, is $250.

Nobody wants to shop around at a moment like this, so we publish every price. There are no consultation fees, no urn upsells at the door, and no surcharge for living further out in our service area.

What sets the price

  • Your companion's weight — chambers, time and fuel scale with size.
  • Which memorial you'd like their ashes returned in (or whether you'd prefer a scatter tube).
  • Whether collection falls after hours, on a weekend or on a public holiday.

Questions families often ask

Is there a cheaper option than cremation?

Removal only at $250 is our lowest-cost option — respectful collection and lawful onward care, with no ashes returned. Backyard burial is legal on some properties but subject to council rules.

Do you charge extra for travel?

Not within our normal service area. Pickups more than 100km from Coffs Harbour carry a $110 out-of-area fee.

When do I pay?

After the arrangements are made — never at the door in the first hour. We'll send a clear invoice with payment options.

Are these prices for individual cremation?

Yes. Every Harbourside cremation is individual. Your companion is the only one in the chamber, tracked by a single numbered SafeHarbour tag.
